Keeping Christ in your Family Dynamic

Nothing is more important than family and allowing God and Jesus Christ in your heart to help you lead your family. As men we become obsessed with success and fail to realize that our families that we chose want us not money, cars or big homes.

I learned this the heard way. My wife wanted to be loved the same way she always was. My kids wanted my time and my wife needed me to be there front and center. I failed in many ways and had it not been for God pulling me back I would have lost them all. I lost my wife and best friend but she knows she is the love of my life and that I will always be here for her when she needs me.

Keeping Jesus Christ at the Center of Your Family is so important.

As Christian families, it's so important that we keep Jesus Christ at the very center of our homes and family dynamics. When Christ is the foundation, everything else falls into place.

Too often, the busyness of life can cause us to lose sight of what truly matters most. Work, school, extracurricular activities, and the endless demands of modern life can easily distract us from our most important calling - to love God and love our families.

But Scripture is clear about the priority of faith and family. The Bible tells us, "But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord" (Joshua 24:15). This should be the motto for every Christian household.

Here are some practical ways to keep Jesus at the heart of your family:

Make faith a daily practice. Set aside time each day for family prayer, Bible reading, and spiritual discussions. This doesn't have to be lengthy - even 10-15 minutes can make a big difference.

Attend church together regularly. Corporate worship, teaching, and fellowship are vital for the spiritual growth of your family.

Celebrate Christian holidays and traditions. Things like Advent, Christmas, Easter, and Pentecost can help anchor your family in the rhythm of the church calendar.

Serve others as a family. Look for opportunities to volunteer, give to those in need, and otherwise live out your faith through good works.

Model Christ-like character. Children learn primarily by observing the example of their parents. Strive to exemplify the fruits of the Spirit in your own life.

Encourage one another's spiritual journeys. Be each other's accountability partners and cheerleaders as you navigate the challenges of following Jesus.

When we build our families on the solid foundation of Christ, we can weather any storm. Our homes become a safe harbor, a place of peace, joy, and purpose. So let us commit to keeping Jesus at the center - now and always.

The family is the basic building block of society, and when families are rooted in Christ, it has a profound impact on the world around us. As Christian parents, we have a sacred responsibility to guide our children in the ways of the Lord.

One of the most important things we can do is to make prayer a regular part of family life. Set aside time each day to come before God together, bringing Him our praises, our petitions, and our thanksgivings. Pray for each family member by name, lift up any specific needs or struggles, and ask for God's wisdom and strength.

Reading the Bible as a family is also crucial. Choose an age-appropriate translation and take turns reading aloud. Discuss the meaning of the passages and how they apply to your lives. Encourage your children to memorize key verses.

Worship is another vital component. Sing hymns and contemporary Christian songs together. Many families enjoy having a weekly "family worship" time where they can lift their voices in praise. Attend church as a family and participate fully in the service.

Perhaps most importantly, parents must model authentic faith in their own lives. Let your children see you talking to God, studying His word, and living out your convictions. Share your own struggles and triumphs in the Christian walk. When they observe your unwavering commitment to Christ, it will have a profound impact.

Of course, raising a godly family is not without its challenges. There will be ups and downs, successes and failures. But through it all, keep Jesus at the center. Rely on His grace, wisdom, and strength. Trust in His perfect plan for your family.

When Christ is the foundation, families become a beautiful reflection of the Church - a place of unconditional love, mutual support, and a passion for serving God and others. This is the legacy we must pass down to the next generation.

So let us be diligent in our efforts to keep Jesus preeminent in our homes. For when our families are built upon the solid rock of Christ, they will stand firm no matter what storms may come.

Always remember that nothing is impossible or more important than your family. In my case my wife and bestfriend, my son and buddy and last but not least my daughter my princess. Never forget how much I love you all. God bless you all and always. I am truly grateful to have you all in my life and I thank God each day for the blessings you all have been to my life.

Kiss, nurture and love your wives remember you only have a family because she gave one to you. Love her daily women are fragile and once they break, I can tell you no matter how much you pray, plead or beg the lord, they usually don't come back.
